Batteries, UPS units and inverters are not ordinary mixed e-waste. Their chemistry, physical condition and quantity affect whether and how they can be collected. Describe them separately from computers and appliances from the first enquiry.
Check condition without opening anything
- Keep batteries upright on a stable surface.
- Do not open cases, drain liquid or remove terminals.
- Avoid handling swollen, hot, leaking or visibly damaged batteries unnecessarily.
- Share clear photos and report damage before collection is arranged.
Share the details that matter
Provide the battery or UPS type where known, quantity, approximate size and condition. For a business installation, also mention whether equipment is still connected, its floor and the access route. Do not assume on-site disconnection or specialist lifting is included unless it has been agreed.

Add your battery or power-backup equipment for a collection assessment.
